SKILLS AND INTERESTS

Music Theory: Analysis of Post-Tonal music (chamber and orchestral repertoire) and Italian Opera. Emphasis on Scriabin, Messiaen, Webern and Puccini.

Composition/Arranging:   Film music for varied ensembles, including pop settings; Cartoon Underscoring, and "Contemporary" Composition, with stress on parody of today's many "pseudo-avant-garde" styles.

Conducting: Private Studies with David Callahan (Conductor of Brookline Symphony).

Piano Performance: Focus on Romantic and 20th-Century repertoire, especially Chopin and Scriabin.
